From a single office to the ETL Group operating in Germany and across the world

A vision became reality

Almost 50 years ago, the vision of a holistic law firm concept was born, which was to provide tax, business and legal advice from a single source. Franz-Josef Wernze continued his business idea in the following years and developed the ETL Group, a group of companies consisting of tax consultants, lawyers, auditors, management consultants and financial service providers, which has been operating under the „ETL“ brand since 1995. From one tax consultancy firm in 1971, the group has grown to 950 offices in Germany and 450 offices across the world.
